About me
Dr. Vithala Surya Prakasa Rao MD DM (PGIMER) FACC FSCAI FESC has been practicing clinical and interventional cardiology for more than 34 years and done 10,000 Radial Interventions and 1500 CTO PCI which is biggest in Asia.
Dr. Rao is the first Indian doctor to pioneer the Japanese treatment of clearing 100% blocks(CTO) in our coronary arteries without need for bypass surgery in sutureless technique. The young and elderly patients are greatly benfited from this by avoiding bypass surgeries and also benefits post-bypass patients.
This not only made this technique popular but helped a number of underprivileged patients avoid the open heart surgeries.
